Clearly, this is not the way your laundry is supposed to look after a morning in the sun in Tuscany. It took me a couple weeks before I even tried to do a load of wash...Frankly I was scared of the washing machine, but I was even more scared at not having a clothes dr...

One of my favorite places in Cortona is the monastery and sanctuary of Le Celle. Saint Francis of Assisi came here in 1210 to set in motion the creation of a small monastic settlement. He preferred solitude and would seek out wooded areas to withdraw and meditate. Perh...

Stella and I arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport on the morning of April 21st.

I was prepared for the vigorous interrogation by Passport Control for bringing a dog into Italy. I had all the necessary paperwork in hand showing Stella had 2 microchips (the first being t...

Dear Mr. Mole,

I hear you and your family have taken up residence in my backyard. Well, I'm here to tell you that I eat moles like you for breakfast . Don't mess with me. I am a Jersey Dog, and in New Jersey we bury our enemies in the Meadowlands. I know my size may ha...

       La Dolce Vita

Mike and I met in 2016 at the Farmers Market in Laguna Beach. We booked our first adventure 2 months later to go biking in New Zealand. Together we bungee jumped off a cliff at Lake Taupo in the north island.

We survived and thrived ...and married 2 year later.

Our adventures have taken us paragliding off a mountain in Lucerne, Switzerland, hiking through the bush in Zambia in search of the elusive white rhino and covered in bees at a bee farm in Tucson, Arizona.

I hope you enjoy adventures and misadventures.

  Ciao for now,

  Nancy and Mike
